It was dawn and Fern saw her father with a ax. And wondered what he was doing with it? So she asked her mom.She said the pigs were born last night.Fern said I don't see why he needs a ax.Well one of the pigs was a runt and your fathers going to give a way with it said the mom GIVE A WAY WITH IT! screamed fern. as she pushed the chair and ran and ran out the door. To catch up with her father. and told her father that if I were small would you have have killed her.Fern there's difference between a girl and a pig. She got to keep the pig.
